Don Miguel will lead our Ayahuasca ceremonies, circle discussions and be available for personal consultations whilst on retreat. Since 2012, Don Miguel has spent the bulk of his time at the Ayahuasca Foundation where he supports his brother, Don Enrique in leading lectures, workshops, initiation courses and retreats. Miguel is also a trained literature professor and thoroughly enjoys teaching the Shipibo language and culture. At a very young age he began his apprenticeship as a curandero through plant dietas under the supportive guidance of his grandfather. Don Miguel grew up surrounded by the Shipibo wisdom and possess intimate knowledge of the sacred plant medicines. The school built some years later was named after Vargas and Roaboya went on to be recognised as the first indigenous community 114 years ago. Vargas was an expert in sacred plant medicines and was frequently called upon to heal and share his spiritual wisdom with members of Roaboya. When Don Miguel was a child, Angel Sanchez Vargas, his grandfather was the community’s curandero. The second week will be in silence so you can commune more deeply with the wisdom of these plants and the potency of the Shipibo lineage that will be holding you.ĭon Miguel was born into a Shipibo community called Roaboya on the River Ucayali. There will also be space for us to become more quiet and internal through guided meditation, sound healing, yoga, womb clearing, and Clarity Breathwork. You will be embodying the divine feminine through dance workshops, art therapy, mantra, and vocal activation. Some of the time will be spent sharing, connecting, and co-creating with the earth and one another. During these 21 days, there will be specific containers curated for processing and integrating your experiences. This retreat is beautifully designed to allow space for sisterhood as well as sacred time with self and these intelligent plant allies. This radiance and bliss create a deep peace in the heart and the ultimate surrender reveals all truth. Once rested in the womb of the mother, there is a deep remembrance that all life is connected, nothing is separate, and every moment is an opportunity to feel this beauty. In this space, the heart remains open to allow spirit to guide, the mind does not interrupt the flow of love, and you are no longer looking outside of yourself for fulfillment. To connect to the divine feminine is to become fully aligned to the sacred light within. When in balance, you can feel the potency of this force through vulnerability, grace, courage, humility, and strength. From this space creativity, compassion, intuition, and collaboration flow endlessly. The divine feminine is the expression of the ancient mother in all of her forms.
